5 Places To Shop In Seoul

February 13, 2018 Ana Vuki

Seoul is one of my favorite cities to visit. I love how easy it is to get around the city and the fashion. Shopping in Seoul is one of my favorite things to do so I've compiled a list of my favorite places to frequent whenever I visit.

1. Indibrand

This is literally my favorite store in the whole world. At least for now. This brand creates minimalistic and quality basics that are both stylish and affordable. I love the design and layout of the store. Most of the items are free size, but there is something for everyone here. Check them out on Instagram: @indibrand_official

2. Hongdae

Hongdae is one of my favorite neighborhoods in Seoul, there's a lot of cool finds. There's cool restaurants, cafés, and the streets. Hongdae is a hip neighborhood that is frequented by young college students. They have a lot of unique clothing stores that range from preppy-hipster to rock n roll edgy to eclectic vintage.

3. Vin Prime

I try and go thrift shopping in every country I visit. Vin Prime is a thrift store that I read about online and I was able to find an outlet in a subway station. Their locations are regularly updated on their website. I love the eclectic and vintage styles that they carry. I didn't get to spend as much time as I would've liked but this is a store I will definitely re-visit the next time I'm in Seoul.

There is also another store called A Land that is a little more upscale and they carry a great selection of vintage items. They also have some cute indie labels.

4. Dongdaemun Design Plaza

DDP Seoul

Dongdaemun is a famous shopping area and you can literally shop till you drop. Some of the malls within the area don't close until 5AM or 7AM. Seoul Fashion Week is also held at the Dongdaemun Design Plaza so be sure to check it out as they are sometimes hosting art shows and you can also marvel at the beautiful architecture.

5. All the skincare shops

K-Beauty is a phenomenon that is here to stay. There are skincare shops all throughout Seoul, some of my favorites are Innisfree, Tony Moly, and The Saem. I love to get sheet masks from Innisfree along with their Green Tea Serum and Jeju Pore Mousse Clay Mask.

I was obsessed with Tony Moly's Goat Milk toner for a time and I religiously use the Tea Tree Foam Facial Cleanser from The Saem.
